    My First import Venture

Hi all this is my first ever imported Venture. And what a venture it is. Bought myself a psp value pack (JAP). For the first time in years i had that kid excitement that only arrived ounce a year namely CHRISTMAS. Being 27 this has long gone hehe. But this little power house was shocking just opening the box screamed quality. (BY THE WAY I NOW NO WHAT WAS IN THE BRIEF CASE IN PULP FICTION HEHE A PSP). Anyway after getting all the leads sorted, i pressed onto loading my first game Ridge Racer. All ive got too say is oh my god from menus to music to play ability it really is shocking.
For something to stop my mrs cleaning in her tracks its got to be good hehe.

Any one considering to get one. JUST GET IT this product is too good to be left.
The only downer is im on 24hr guard duty around it.

Sony trully have created a monster wipeout pure now on its way.

Thank you too some of the guys who helped me with info on where to get my psp.

    cheers chojin, Mofoman

Somehow I do not think this will be the case, it's a really nice peice of kit and well worth owning, the only problem at the moment is this petty import nonsense that Sony are trying to impose.

seems to be the general trend for PSP atm. Get it "OMFG TEH ROXXOR!!!11" then a month later the appeal has worn away, you realise just how few worthwhile games are actually on it, impatient to wait for the next lot of quality games and flog it :P

Then when GTA and WE9 come out on it, every1 will come crawling back, mark my words :P Tho personally I'm more a DS man. PSP doesn't really appeal atm bar 2 or 3 games so I'm waitin for it to be under ?100 all in, possibly with a game.

So true. The wow factor soon wears off believe it or not. I told myself when I first got a psp "this time I will keep this hardware". A month later it had been sold. Apart from lumines, I dont miss it atall.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy your psp man. It is fantastic while it lasts.

As Dave said enjoy your PSP, for me it just didn't do it. Thats coming from a big Sony whore like me.

Maybe when WE9 is out i'll change my mind (couldn't care a toss about GTA), though this depends on what it plays like. Especially online as the XBox (Pro Evo 4) has put me off playing due to disappointing online experience.

You're kidding right? I thought everyone knew it was a prototype PSP in there?!

                  Jules: "Vincent....we happy? VINCENT!!!"
Vincent: "Oh yeah, we happy (but only for a month or so apparently)"

And with regards to the other topic in discussion

Admittedly, I've only had my US PSP for about a week and a half, but I do love it and I am looking forward to playing the following games on it.....

                  GTA
                  Burnout Legends
                  MediEvil
                  Death Jr.
                  + many others too

....and I will be keeping mine - I'll be the only one that does, but I'm keeping it all the same

Keep your chin up Veritas! Despite some of the doom and gloom reported by others, there is plenty to be had out of your PSP. Some good looking games are coming (eventually...), you can play emulators on it, and the media functionality is great!

At the very least it's a good PPD (Portable Porn Device).

I have yet to find a game that I can beat completely (gaming I enjoy... gaming... I am average at). I ordered Shutokou Battle Zone of Control last week (Yes-Asia) which should arrive in a day or so and I hope this is on the same level (ability-wise) as the last outing on PS2. If that is the case my PSP will get some serious use over the coming weeks. Have yet to try Intelligent License as well (minor matter of an upgrade to V1.50 required for that).

I got mine about 2 months ago now and I still love it.

Never been a Wipeout fan really but I bought Pure and haven't looked back!

Plus it is great for watching anime's on the bus as I travel to work!
