i personally still play homm 3 with friends all the time, great party game, but i dont think ive /ever/ finished a single game!

now..i was skeptical to hear Ubisoft where doing it..but from the screenshots..it looks gorgeous

I've played every part, mostly liked HoMaM 2 - 3000 skeletons would get any job done. I think they messed it up by going into full 3D, or maybe HoMaM 4 was just plain crap, dunno...

Homam 4 was crap imho also, the graphics were ugly, and the way the game played just sucked to the previous versions, but this time round it looks like theyve hit the nail on the head

I agree that HOMM 4 was crap, and that 3 (and 2) were excellent, but I don't see how/why this one looks so much better. Obviously the graphics look great, but I'd prefer simple combat ala 3/2, not taking 4 and making it yet more complicated...IMO that was the problem.

I'm still hopeful, but not very....

i did dislike how 4 was done..i preferred the colourful 2D graphics of 2 and 3, it was also easy to make maps..but from what i can gather from the screenshots..this is like heroes 3, only in beutiful full 3D..cant wait
