Unexpected celebrities in video game promotion

Was looking at a 64 site the other day (http://www.lemon64.com) and found this cover art for Barbarian.



...and I thought to myself, "Where have I seen him before?"

Then it hit me.

And Page 3 Model Maria Whitaker was on the cover of Barbarian 1 (i think) Both appeared on the cover of a game where you chopped of the head of your opponate.

i remember years ago there was controversy for a game called GAME OVER where there was a advert in games mags and you could see a womans nipple.Then in mags later she had a metal plate covering it

is it just me, or does any else like the fact we grew up with these kinda crappy games? it certainly makes me appreciate current games alot more, i wouldnt like to be growing up now with the xbox 360 on the way.

imagine that,the 360 will be some kids gateway into the gaming world... ok now i dont appreciate growing up with ****ty tape games!!! :P
