Pilotwings for the gamecube?

There just has to be a new Pilotwings released, but it has to be on the revolution as it would be nice to see the game with ultra realistic lighting and realistic physics and go anywhere type gameplay. It really would push the boundaries of gaming if Miyamoto was in charge of the next version of the game on the Revolution.
I honestly feel that the DS could do the game no justice at all and would end up tarnishing the series rather than enhancing it, after all the DS was designed for new experience's, not thing's like this. I honestly feel that they skipped out on a Gamecube version of the game to concentrate on the next Pilotwing's as a launch title for the Revolution, as it had been rumoured as a Gamecube title for year's.

Pilotwings on the DS would be brilliant - as people have mentioned the stylus could be used in some really interesting ways, and you could have gliding games where you blow on the speaker - I know some people aren't too keen on using this feature but you have to admit it would be cool. Steering with the stylus and every now and then blowing on the speaker to keep your glider in the air. They could even combine it with a 'tilt sensor' cartridge in the GBA slot, so you could control your pitch.

Can I join the Pilotwings love in?
I remember when my US N64 arrived with SM64 and Pilotwings, it was a magical moment. Of course I played Mario 64 first and loved it, but the most pleasant surprise was how accomplished Pilotwing was. It was so free. I remember trying to fly through the tunnels with the bird man. Did anyone else see the the rock texture that looked like the face of Jesus?
I also recall when the N64 draught occurred after Waverace was release, my friends would moan that they had no games to play.
'But you haven't got Pilotwings. Buy it!' I would say.
'It looks ****' they would respond.
Their loss.
