How much do you spend a month on gaming?

i dont know about anyone else but i'm ashamed that i spend more than others!

i was expecting ntsc-uk members to be spending alot more than is being mentioned! i'm quite shocked!

I don't envy the cash of those spending large amounts on gaming - more the freetime to play them!

Just buying the 2 games a month (ok, ok, occasionally 4!!) I struggle to find time to finish them. Except the handheld titles - being able to squeeze them into lunch and other out and about breaks makes a big difference to me.

The DS and the PSP have both changed how I play games more than previous handhelds. Don't know why. They just have....

Most of us have different gaming habits and are probably quite diverse in what funds we have available to us and how much free time we have.

My job can be quite stressful at times and it is not uncommon for me to have to work anywhere from 1 hour to 10 hours overtime at the end of a 9 hour day so I do value my free time.

The purpose of this thread was to ask other members what they bought in a month on average and that was all. There was no hidden meaning when I started the thread.

Judging by some of the other threads (Gaming Setups and Retro purchases) most members really value their collections and are williing to share details of them with other likeminded individuals.
This time last year I had 3 consoles (XB,PS2 and GB). Since I got my PC in April and have access to the internet I have been able to get 2 Saturns, a dreamcast, Megadrive II, SNES and PC Engine.
I have been able to get loads of games for these quite cheaply and would rather spend my money on my hobby than pissing ?50 a week up against a wall after a night out on the town as many of colleagues and friends do.

This year I've actually increased my purchasing, mainly due to my handhelds. bought both DS and PSP, and now have a combined total of 8 games for them, in the space of 2 months. I'll probably buy 4 more games in this month, due to how much I play both.

I rarely spend much on my consoles though, only venturing out to buy 'classics' that I'll play a lot/finish (DMC3, GOW, RE4)

Guild Wars has no fees. I cope well with my Halo 2 and WoW at the moment, no reason you can't do two other games like WoW and Guild Wars.
