    Cyber Formula

I start a thread here, instead of First Play, even if no-one previously wrote about it, because it would be quite odd, as the game is out by more than a year.

Today I've just got Shinseki GPX Cyber Formula - Road to The Evolution for GameCube (I think it's available for PS2, too).

Well, not an excellent game, but a quite fun one. Expecially if you like the anime series, or wacky fantasy additions to more serious settings, typical of Japanese imagery. Here we have F1-like Grand Prix with cars that change configuration (circuit mode or the faster but less maneuverable aero mode) during race at 300Km/h, start boost using jet-like afterburners and reach speeds over 700 km/h.
Unfortunately, one of the downpoints of the game is just the sense of speed. this game don't even get close to any F-Zero, Wipeout or even Burnout 3.
Graphically it is an average Renderware game, the audio effects are quite good, and the music very adrenalinic, if you like the genre.

Plus, the game is full of extra, even a special episode of the anime.

i've considered getting this a few times, because the anime is so cool, but never gone through with it in the end.
if i ever see it dirt cheap, i'll definately pick it up though, but it looks too average to bother paying real money for.
