well I just got through to woolies customer services without having to listen to their inane message on repeat at all

They say I have been billed for it, and they will try to post it for release day. They are using Parcel Force, she said that it may not arrive on the 2nd though, its more than likely going to come on the monday, if it doesnt come on the friday then I am pulling a sickie on monday.

just been to gheystation in Motherwell

They have 2 deals:

1/ Premium pack with 2 games (any) and a wireless controller for ?400
2/ premium pack with 3 games (any) for ?415

its an absolute con - nearly told him to stick his xbox360 up his well fecked farter

they are getting 16 consoles for the midnight launch and another delivery of 6 machines later in the week

i'm livid with them and i reckon this will be the last time i set foot in a gamestation store

I ordered the pro pack with pgr3 from woolies on the 15th and havent been billed either, yet i've seen people on other sites that have ordered the same bundle on the 17th and they've been billed

You sure you don't have a transaction waiting to be autherised? I thought i hadn't been billed but it's there.

but most places online they're only ?40 each and i managed to get a couple of games cheaper thanks to amazon and the 15% off at asda (?34 each)

so if we use the prices online i'm paying ?20 over the odds when i dont really need too, online shopping is the way ahead

Just had my call from GAME confirming my preorder. They had 38 preorders & won't be having any extra on the shelves. He also confirmed Condemned + 4 games offer is actually 5 games, not 4 as IanE seems to think!!

I got a call from Game today as well confirming my xbox was available from 7.30 on fri morning. No 12 oclock opening but i dont mind a quick visit on fri morning and im set for the day.

They are definitly doing the 450 quid for 5 games at the Newcastle store, dont know if it was a typo or not but they are still offering the deal.

Just got to pick the games now
