The 360 headset is complete rubbish! I hope someone makes a dongle that you can plug Xbox headsets into, namely the Plantronics Halo 2 one; quality sound and very comfortable.

er.....you don't need a donlgle, you can just plug any xbox headset in.

I use my Halo 2 headset when I'm playing Halo 2 because the 360 is too quite for it.

I tried that, but it would be nice to have volume control though.

I'm sure someone will make a dongle eventually. I have seen instructions on converting the 360 one, but I don't fancy chopping mine up.

Personally I don't like the overhead design, it sounds quiet and muffled, and you can't move the mic down enough. This is compared to the Plantronics Halo 2 one I use, which is excellent in both sound quality and functionality.

Got my 360 today, finally
Picked up a Premium from Currys in Evesham, about 35 miles from my home.
A mate works there and told me they had a small stock, and has put 1 in the office for me. So i went over today to get it, and he put his staff discount through
So i walked away with a 360Premium for ?250

YAY

Just one last question. If my Premium pack does come through can I use the wires supplied with it to plug it into my SCART or do I have to order a cable seperatly?

Be warned though, it looks terrible through composite. My Xbox through S-Video looks much better than the 360 through composite, very noticeable difference.

Thats jus because S-Video is far better than Composite. I agree they look dire in Composite, I've already got an RGB SCART cable and a VGA cable ready for mine ^_^
