the Mac version has a great overlay effect that replicates the RGB pixel seperations of a CRT tube ever so slightly over top of the graphics, and just barely smudges the edge of the sharp pixels.

I have to say that after years away from emus and an aloof attitude, space time money etc have gooten the better of me and Mame rocks my world. Mame 32 , direct x with antiostropic filtering and the rgb pixel triad effect is an arcade maching and the games I used to love are all in full screen perfect lovelyness. With my saturn usb pad this is the best thing ever in the world. Now I just have too many games to play which is sad but wonderful.
