Went in to the Rathbone street one today to waste 10 mins and guess how much they are selling the UK PSP for?

They'll pay ?180 cash for one aswell.

How much does it cost elsewhere?

Hmm... I might buy a couple from HMV or somewhere using my 10% discount, then sell em back to cex at a nice little profit.

.... wait... why did I type that?

Dunno if 10% discount applies to consoles, I'd been told it doesn't because they pay Sony ?180 for the PSPs in the first place.

Prolly not, that was up before UK allocations and stuff were confirmed, just a tactic to get you to pre order tbh.

Marketing lying, whatever next. Actually went into one in stratford today and there seemed to be plenty of them.

Slight o/t but i've noticed Amazon are reporting Xbox360 will be in short supply, but i actually think this will be true.

They're all full of **** and bollocks, short supply my arse,CEX are wankers and rip-off merchants, plus it's full of stinky geeks,as for HMV,Amazon and people like that.......well,best not said.
Sell out of X360??? I don't think so,just the usual hype machine going again, seen it all before and anyway i think the machine should not be sold to "Under 18's",not a kiddie machine but you'll still get stupid thick parents who think they know whats best for little Jimmy go out and splash money on their credit cards.............oh f*ck it,thats my moan for the day out the way!ft:

Well lets face it,even with something like the PSP,can you imagine with last weeks official launch, the problems with it being nicked and broken at school(oh the horrors) and god knows what else, given just how easy it is to scratch that damn screen without prtoection<LMAO !

If i was a parent,i would'nt buy my kid this kind of thing, given what goes on in the playground,PSP is for adults, and Sony ought to publish that fact,we all know they won't,and so is X360 so if there are any 12 year olds out there reading this.......piss off and go play dolls or somethingft: ft:

GBA=Fine for kids, why not,it's cheap and nasty just like Nintendo.

they're not jokers, they're flipping geniuses

think about it - the only reason they'd be given a price tag of ?295 would be because people WILL pay that much if they're dying to get one NOW, and pay they have.

and before you lot start arsing about saying 'omfg ?295 that's a rip0fF11!!!11', how many people on here spend extravagant amounts of money just to be the first to play Super Duper Train-Train De Go! Dancing Stage Remix Version Super Turbo Alpha. Zero.

                          3L33T indeed

Are you just taking the piss?

"PSP is for adults" Que? Who cares who buys and plays games, why let it bother you if they're 12 or 30?

                              Riiiiiiiight...

So the GBA is fine for kids to play with because it's cheap and nasty, but the PSP is far too delicate for them (which somehow means it isn't) and so should only be sold to adults.
