    Woolies 1gig memory card offer

As some of you know Woolworths have an offer on at the moment which gets you a 1 gig sandisk memory card when you buy any psp game, or so you thought as a lot of branches dont seem to know about it, not reading store mail etc. If you are having problems pm me the branch details asap and I`ll pass it onto one of the EUK reps in the morning.

Thanks for the heads-up. ?100 (or thereabouts) 1GB stick with a ?35 game? One thinks Woolies have cocked up somewhere.

Is the Bolton branch doing this? I think it's the nearest Woolworths to where I live.

if you buy a PSP or a PSP game you can get a 1gig Scandisk pro duo for half price - which means ?50 for it (only ?80 at amazon) - so a game and the 1gig duo for ?85

but alot of woolworths are doing the same deal but only offering a scandisk 512meg pro duo for ?30

so you can get a game and the duo for ?65, unless you take snooker (which is ?50 all in)

I already have a 512mb stick. The 1GB offer however, I'm interested in.

the idea of this thread was for the people moaning about their local branch not doing the offer not to advertise it.

If you have problems pm me the branch name by 12 noon 2morrow

Theres an extra ?23 "postal insurance" plus youd have to wait an age for it to be sent, and even then its probably fake

I never said you were. Unaware of the offer, I was interested to find out about it. No need to be snappy...

Actually, I remember ordering my 1GB pro duo from eBay a few months ago and I received it in perfect condition as described and quickly too! It was a great deal aswell, I got it for about ?70 at the time when most other retailers were selling them for ?100+

Yep I also bought a 1gb sandisk memory stick from that ebay seller, and it arrived in decent time, and wasn't a fake, I guess these mem sticks just cost more to buy in this country.

Is there such a thing as a 'fake' branded memory stick?

No of course there isn't, there is such a thing as missing out on bargains through being overly suspicious.

Yeah, when I ordered mine it was almost the only one for ?70 so I just thought what the hell and ordered it, and it turned out fine.

A Sandisk 1GB Pro Duo for ?50 or nearby is good deal but IMO I would wait for the 2GB version to come down in price once it's released
