and if you check hard enough at our local CEX, you can pick it up for a mere tenner!

To be fair, I don't think the prices for the rare or more desirable PS2 stuff will kick in until the next gen stuff come out.

Sore of the rarer Saturn and PSX stuff are costing stupid money now...

And I bought a copy of it in the US last month for $6

Though having said that, I went into 30+ shops and only found that one copy of it.

@John - Skies of Arcadia US Cube is all over the place now, just about every shop I've gone into in the US has a copy, if not multiple. It used to be harder to find and then I think a load of people sold/traded theirs in. It's normally $20 in most shops.

Hasanhadi - If that's the US PS2 version in there, I suggest you buy it and sell it on!

I think the 2D Fighters on Xbox Live are rare.
Street Fighter AC is ok. But GGXX#R and CFJ...

I didn't find any KOF on Xbox Live now.

Does anyone know why the US versions of these games are so much more expensive than their PAL counterparts? Is it something to do with print runs?

WordImageSoundPlay (PS2 JPN) from TOMATO is pretty thin on the ground.

I had a very hard time tracking down both volumes of Blood: The Last Vampire on PS2, in fact I only got the second one by using a japanese online shopping service (I told him what I wanted and how much I'd pay, he went and got it!)

But I don't think that means it's rare, it's just rarely sold outside of Japan.

I swear there's no such thing as a Rare title, you can pick up anything you want if you know where to look.

                        Jap traders, yahoo jp etc.....

The place was called Crescent Shop, but it's not www.crescentshop.com (or .co.jp).. can't remember now but google is probably your friend.

                          Got it - http://www.crescent-shop.com/

It appeared to be just one guy filling everybody's requests, so go easy on him!

Yes, that's why I said that's NOT it. So that people didn't waste their time trying. Found it now anyway, I was missing the hyphen.

Isn't US Rez a lot cheaper after they did another print run? Or am I mistaken?

Given that the Euro one has a 60Hz option, it's hardly the end of the world anyway.
