Dracula at the end of Castlevania : SOTN went down like a bee-atch.

Yeah, and the old guy at the end of PoP : SOT wasn't all that, either.

Bowser in Super Mario 64 (only just played this via DS, so don't know about original N64 version but presume he's comparable).3 lame-o spinning throws into the floating mines/bombs, and the castle and the princess's favours are yours!

Hardly. Just a cake and a kiss on the nose. Barely worth the effort really. Except that it's a wicked game so it is worth the effort

Erm... she's a character in a game, btw.
But they do all disappear off in there together...

Another pants end poss has got to be the dude in Syphon Filter II on PS1, which was hard as nails throughout. Can't remember who the boss was or what he represented, but anyway something 'evil'. Probably to do with viruses and plots and cover-ups and international corporations...

Anyway, you encountered him on a skyscraper rooftop with a helicopter landing pad and a copter parked in the middle of it, blades whirring away. He had a bullet-cum-everything-proof jacket on, so you beat him simply by using shotgun to knock him back into tail-rotor of the copter...after which you get a brief Indiana Jones moment - slash slash, spurt spurt...game over.

I was a bit disappointed with the final battles in Silent Hill (the first one) and SH3.

At the end of the first game, you get this big ole demon-and all you have to do is run around and then shoot with the rifle. The demon at the end of SH 3 didn't impress either...especially after you find out about the glitch...

What a complete relief that turned out to be!

Iirc the last bit of Perfect Dark was a bit easy.
And so was Goldeneye once you cleared out the drones, worked out the gaps in his pattern and used the cover properly.
