Frankly the usual 'Xbox only has ten games I want' etc threads get on my tits.

Streets of Rage 2 - Trying to one credit it. Sometimes though it's fun to play two player and beat the **** out of each other!! XD

Xmen COTA & MSH - Training up (for no reason really) as Psylocke. I love the OTT combo system and I could listen to Omega Red's theme all day.

Sonic CD - Because I can!

Parasol Stars - Childhood favorite, finally I have access to it again.

Street Fighter 2 HF - My Honda is sick. Seriously, I don't like to talk smack when it comes to fighters but I am truly ill at this game.

Blazing Star - Fun little hori shooter. Not worth the money people pay for it but it's the ideal play for one credit then turn off game.

I'm not on any high horse. And I'm not going to get this thread locked by starting an argument. But they are indeed scummy, if you dont have the originals, like 99% of the Xbox MAME owning people dont

RTCW - Amazing xbl game.

Halo - Been playing this since december 2001, best game this gen. Had a wicked LAN session last week with Kamaran.

Brute Force - Great game, though not for everyone

PSO - More XBL goodness, love the 4 player co-op, its a blast online

PDO - Still trying to get S ranking on level 7 argh!

And i'm sure Sega, Capcom, Konami, Taito and Namco don't give a **** that i'm playing decade old games which can no longer be purchased at retail. If you want to reject the games that made arcade history then that's your choice, just don't belittle those that still want to appreciate them.

Whenever I go to Japan I will be putting money into arcade machine running Rave Racer, Makaimura and Fantasy Zone (like I was doing 6 months ago). Personally I contribute a **** of a lot more than you do to these companies in doing so, both by playing them in the arcades and remembering their work.

Unlight, this is a thread about gaming not about copyright theft.

Quite frankly, you'd have to be mad to have an Xbox and not be using emulators. I have mine chipped so I can stick all my old stuff in the loft and use it as a games jukebox.

Currently:

Donkey Kong Country (SNES - Rare's finest hour IMO)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Master System - still the best version!)
Ghouls & Ghosts (Arcade version - so very hard)
Project Gotham Racing (I hate the racing - the CPU cars have dreadful AI - but the arcade mode with the cones is very, very addictive)

btw Sidez, which emulator are you using for Mega Drive/CD stuff? The ones I've tried so far have varied in quality.

GensX by Xport. Install it to the HDD and all CD games run perfectly. You might want to check out Xenesis as well though as apparently the sound bugs have been totally ironed out. Regardless though, both are great, just avoid Hikaru's GensX port.

Have my Xbox modded and all that crap but Mame et al just don't do it for me. I've got a Super Famicom and over 100 games and any arcade shooters I like to play I have for the Saturn so... *shrug*

Up until recently I've ignored my Xbox in favour of the GameCube but with it practically going down the toilet games-wise I thought I'd give my MS machine a shot.

Having a small break from gaming, but was last seen potching about with these:

PGR - still trying to chip away at the kudos to get the better cars.
DOAX - I can win the occasional match now.
Dodonpachi - annoying, my cousin can score more than me in a single credit.
Quicknsilver - old amiga PD, I expect most folk won't have heard of it.

Keep meaning to have a proper go of JSRF, too. When I had it new, I was too busy playing segaGT, halo and motoGP to give it the time, then I forgot about it.
