Why you might see an increase in Halo 2 modders....

Interesting news regarding a new book on sale, 'Halo 2 Hacks' is its name and it exposes all manner of hacks in the game and also informs you how to mod.

All the mods I tried out were only good for curiosity value - making the levels look different etc.

If I see any more people on Xlink using that f*cking jump-to-a-stupid-height cheat then I'll make a dent in the wall.

for me there's only need for two mods: Halo- and Halo 2-system link co-op!

besides i've only found one single player mod for Halo 2, which is a shame. i'd like to have a mod that maybe ends the Halo 2 campaign or adds some fan fiction to the story.

One of my oldest friends has a section in that book, Mrmurder is his name in the book. He became so obsessed with halo that he lost numerous jobs and girlfriends. He played Halo 20 odd hours a day, you should of seen some of the mods they made for the original halo. He had a mech running around the level. crazy

I was reading on bungie.net about how the modding on Live got started and found it all rather interesting, but the info was scattered over a few threads, so I decided to put together my own little thread for my local community to have a read and discuss.

Then funnily one of the principle modders registered and commented, then another one who was his offsider found his way into the thread. I asked myself how these foreigners had found my little thread. Then I googled their names and guess which thread popped up at the top of the list! That's Vanity.

Its an interesting read and it has far reaching consequences for the stability of Live.

Yeah i dont mind modding for system link fun etc, but not fecking live play. We already have the fecking lagging turbo powered americans we dont need to add **** load of modders onto the list.
