    PSP's out of stock everywhere?

I'm incredibly late to the party here but I was wondering if there was an official line for them being out of stock EVERYWHERE.

I've tried most days at most places, now they are saying "We have none in any branch in the country".

Sony say I'm not to import, yet the ONLY one I found was a ?200 1.5 japanese model that I missed out on.

So MR SONY(c**t) can you tell me why I can't buy a PAL version in my country?

Oh and anyone else who knows I'm intersted too.

Finally, if I do buy one what are the firmware's I could end up with? Are any above 2.0 on sale yet?

For ?99 I am SO tempted to say **** you to sony and buy a nintedogs DS pack that I know I'll enjoy.

    DO IT!

I walked into a GAME and they had a massive sign saying 1 PSP in stock! I wonder if they were going to try and get people to fight in a gladatorial manner to win the right to buy it

It's a lie, members brains have been clouded by this website, if you want to buy one now you have to do so from Play-Asia via a link here.

The Asda I work at don't have any PSP's either, we had tons for ages.

Yet we have mountains of DS's.

Or VG+ and its cheaper too, but what firmware would it be? I'm also VERY wary of getting something like a PSP shipped to me from the UK let alone Canada.

Oh and you are forgetting Mr. Sony doesn't want me to do that.

Do they want it to fail in the UK? Another mate who wants one said to me "Do they think I'm gonna pre-order one, or beg or something? When I can be bothered again I'll get one".

Why don't you order from yesasia.com? You can get a black or white JPN system for ?170 inc P&P, plus save yourself a tenner!

Mine turned up from VGP in tip top condition way back in the US launch. Nicely packaged and quick delivery!

Like everyone else has said, go for import. Buy a white or black one from yesasia, ncsx, VG+, or somewhere else in the US and enjoy whilst Sony screw us over yet again.

I'm sure all this shortage is for the christmas. I'd bet in 2 or 3 weeks there will be loads of PSPs suddenly 'appearing' on the market.

I'm really not confident ordering a ?179.99 item from Canada, and its gonna be pot luck what firmware it comes with?

Nobody seems to know what firmware they are currently being bundled with...

But would it be above 2.0? Cos I won't be able to downgrade then, and I want to...

So with those two items (?200 inc shipping) I should be able to play all region games and emulation?

Thanks in advance, I'm gonna order tonight if you guys reckon its a good idea. You have the power!
