does anyone know if it has been canned. i just went to order it on simply games it and it was nowhere to be found. i was looking forward to getting it up on live. anyone got a clue?

it was supposed to be released over here by now, but playmore and ignition are having a bit of a dispute at the moment so all releases have been put on hold for the forseeable future -
I bought the ps2 version (heard there was a planned conversion of samurai shodown v special)
There is just something missing in ssv i cannot quite put my finger on what i find wrong with it but for some reason i prefer samurai shodown 4
Of course there is the new atomiswave samurai shodown game to look forward (ps2 conversion due in jan 2006)Comment

Muse hunter - whats the dispute. I thought snk would of been all for the release of their games here. Is it perhaps an argument other whether certain games should be published as a double pack like MS and KOF.
Eastyy - samsho v was lacking alot. Choppy as hell, handfuls of animation frames missing, recycled backgrounds and unbalanced gameplay. Easily the worst SS in a while but thats what happens when you lose the talent. SSVS was a an improvement however. Really psyched for samsho 6 on the atomiswave which i gather might be the last one for a while.Comment

I have only seen one vid of samsho 6 which was of a pretty smart juggle combo i really really hope there is more fun combo systemComment

Special plays much better than V, although V has better presentation and BGs IMO. Hoping to pick up a Tenkaichi Kenkakuden cart after xmas if I can find some cash.Comment
