    PDZ or COD2?

Take 2 FPS in the showers? Not for me. I want some variety so i've gone for PGR3 and Condemned (and maybe Kameo).

Which of the 2 are you going for? It's seems that COD2 will have the better single player game whereas PDZ's top trump will be the multi player. I'm kinda leaning more towards the COD camp as i know it's a well tried and tested formula/game.

Nazi death is always fun but PDZ is something new/er and the series has that certain alure for me.

    It's a toughy....

If the COD2 Multiplayer is as fun as the PC one then I cant see PDZ beating it tbh

Imo PDZ looks really sharp and snazzy but COD2 wins hand down due to single player, excellent multi player, superb graphics, decent ai, and of course the random chanting of "bloody wanker" by your brit comrades

I'm getting both but it's easily CoD2 for me if I had to choose. The single player will be better, the PC games have all been brilliant while I've yet to read an overly positive PDZ article. But most of all I think the multiplayer community will be far more pleasant than PDZ's will be. I can imagine alot of the morons that populate Halo 2 will lean towards PDZ while I'm hoping past lovers of Wolfenstein, Rainbow Six, Recon, etc will be on CoD2.

Word on the street (from those who have played it) is that PDZ is a bit of a dog. I haven't played it, so I can't confirm this.

As for CoD2 I haven't heard many negative comments about this one, it's meant to be unremarkable, but solid, if you take my meaning.

I guess you're talking about X360 version of both games.

COD2 SP will be pretty glorious, but the Multiplayer COD2 (on Xbox Live) is 8 players and 16 players? system link. They better fix that on an update or something.
PDZ wise, I have no fricking idea how the SP will turn out. The multiplayer is going to great, with all the game modes, and the customisability. And they've got downloadable content planned as well. So they?re sorted there.

PD0 is not bad - played it at the tour and it has some great stuff in there. Been playing CoD2 on&off on PC for a wee bit now and I absolutely love it so it's already proven. Limited to 8 players online which could be a *good* thing as it could curb the American pack mentality which I feel will plague PD0.

As Mr_Sockochris has pointed out I think a lot of the wankers that ruin Halo2 will find their way to PD0 before CoD2

            BUT

Having been a live user for a couple of years now I can see CoD2 being dead&buried on live within a month or two whilst PD0 will probably run & run.

            Horses for courses.

Well, When it comes to PDZ, what we could do is go into matchmaking as one big team (16 Ntsc-ukers), so if we encounter any annoying yanks, They'll be on the other team, and killing them will be more entertaining.

Anyway, most people who will have gotten the X360/PDZ at first wont be the annoying ones, we'll be just playing with the fairly 'hardcore' people who have just spent over 300 quid/400 dollars to play on the X360.

Only 8 players in COD 2?!

The best part of the mutliplayer was that it played like it was to meant to be played, like a war.

Having four a team seems ridiculous. Just out of interest how many players is the PC version?

I'm going for PDZ, the single player should keep me occupied for a few good hours, then we also have it co-op too, then we have about 6000000 different modes for multiplayer. It should be ace

You'll get better value for money from PDZ, unless it turns out to be a complete dog.

CoD2 is fantastic fun, but it'll only last about eight hours. PDZ will be far more popular on Live, too.

Although COD2 will probably be the better game of the 2, I'd get PDZ for the 360, simply because I can get COD2 for my PC.

CoD2 without a doubt. Wasnt impressed with PDZ when I played it but CoD2 screams amazingness. Just read some more reviews of it there and watching some high def videos. I love this game. Its ace on the PC, only played the demo mind, and I cant afford to upgrade my PC right now for the full experience so I'll gladly get it for 360!

PDZ all the way. I found CoD2 on the PC very disappointing and well 8 players online is a disgrace. PDZ gonna have massive online games and all the single player levels are online co-op as well.

No contest PDZ wins hands down for me.

PDZ for me, purely because I already have CoD 2 for PC - played a bit of COD 2 on a pod at HMV in Manchester and did enjoy it, though. Also ordered PGR3, Kameo and Condemned, although I fear I'll have nothing to play them on despite ordering on the 17th. Curse you, Game online.
