Fed up with the 'Big games'

What I mean is the games which are supposed to be AAA titles but somehow dont justify the coverage or review scores they get IMO anyway.

Heres a few I bought recently-

Metroid prime- I've never been a fan of metroid but I thought I'd give this a try anyway, It was enjoyable at first but as I progreesd through the game I got tired going back and fourth endlessly it was so tedious
    6/10

Zelda WW- Same as above but even worse, boring puzzles and the progress is so slooooooooow
    6/10

Panzer dragoon orta- Talk about cutscene hell! When I play a game like this I want the story to come across whilst I play not after each level. Also the graphics are'nt that good are they . Whats up with the bosses? when I kill one I want to be given the satifaction of watching it die, level 1 boss anyone!? IMO this game has to many cutscenes and not enough descent levels.
    7/10

I could moan all day but I've probably offended alot of you now so I'll stop.

What AAA games are you dissapointed with?

I really dont understand how you can be disappointed with those games...

Too busy enjoying games to slag off excellent work.

I haven't got an XBox to try PDO, but those other 2 games have minor niggly points, but maybe you ought to play something really atrocious to appreciate just how gobsmackingly brilliant they both are.

      Or perhaps you're just trolling?

What is the point of these completely **** topics?

Why doesnt anyone put topics up about what they ENJOY rather than what they are picking at?

I'd much rather read through game tactics/impressions/story discussion instead of pages and pages of people bitching about trivial garbage.

There is a huge thread discussing much the same thing on the second page of this forum.

You may have had the best intentions with this thread, but I don't think we need to cover all the same bases again. Also, like Saur says, it's more productive and interesting to talk about the positive sides to gaming rather than focus on the negative.
