Question on Custom soundtracks

not sure if anyone knows or has tried this but, can you play custom soundtracks in game off external devices E.g Ipod.

Or is it off the HD only?

you can copy non protected songs to the HD and play them. I don't think you can play songs of another device whilst playing games but I didn't try this.
