If they say NTSC on the case as opposed to U/C or J, then I am 99% sure they are region free. It was the same with the orginal box.

Do you think that EA would allow Namco to publish it in the US region free?

EA woudn't really be able to stop Namco from doing whatever to a Namco game being distributed by Namco in a different region though, would they? Is there anyway to tell via the packaging? If so tell me and on Monday when i recieve it, i shall post pack what i see!

Well, we don't know the terms of their contract. EA could well have stipulated that any games they publish for Namco in the EU are region locked in Japan and the USA.

Possibly. And knowing EA, most probably. But like i said, would their be any markings to show otherwise? If so when i recieve it on Moday, i will post them.

Also that article mentions Condenmed. That is Sega

It's likely the US version of Ridge will be region protected.

However, it's quite possible that the Japanese version released by Namco on December the 10th won't be .

man it's all about DOA4.Even though TN are well known for locking their games i'm hoping they've let it slide this time as waiting for febuary to roll around is gonna be a nightmare! it releases in the states on dec 4th.

I imagine its just the ones for the US and european launch as they are so close together it means that they only have to manufacture one set of discs
