The 'I haven't got a 360' thread

i'm fairly sure i'm not alone in not having acquired one/pre-ordered one gang, i think i shall wait until after christmas before i even attempt to get one... as much as i'd probably enjoy one next week i've resigned myself to the fact that it's not gonna happen (unless i trudge around the less game orientated shops at midnight).

so who else is either being butt-f**ked by the preorder system or is simply too poor/lazy to get one right now? i surely acnnot be alone.

and to my previous xbox live friends, don't worry, i'll see you all next year

Game have core systems for sale on the day - first come first served - so anyone can get the console as long as they get their asses out of bed early enough

All my preorders fell through - but I know I will get a machine this week. In fact, if my first option comes through I will get the machine earlier than all those who have preordered 8)

I won't be getting one, at least not for several months as I just can't get excited about the machine. I'm not really bothered about any of the games and I'll be far too busy playing all of the top DS games that are out this winter.

Having said that, if I play PDZ or Ridge Racer and find that I absolutely cannot cope without them then I'll pick a 360 up. I doubt it though.

Think i'll get one next year sometime along with a HD TV. Plus it'll probably be my only console (no multi-platform gaming for me, i'm not 15 anymore and don't have the time) which means i'll play the games more/give them more attention.

Plus all those classic arcade games in HD and playable on-line. So yeah, the 360 is my next gen console of choice you could say.

Ill be picking one up after christmas. Cant be arsed trudging around buying one at the moment, and with christmas coming up its too much effort money-wise.

When I can get one after chrimbo though ill pick one up.

Doesnt help that the only games I want are PDZ and Ridge 6.

I imagine i'll probably only be 'ready' to move up when the PS3 and Revolution arrive,and will probably miss the 360's infancy and pick one up when its been discounted.

I was going to get one for oblivion but that's in April now

I will probally pick up Project Gotham 3 & Kameo in the following weeks though and somewhen next year I'll make a decision after I've paid off my car insurance.

I done the same with the PS2 as I picked up MGS2, Rez, Half Life and Ico as I dident have the money for the console at the time!

Thats a very good point and one of the reasons I can wait to get one.

With games like Zelda:TP and Okami on the horizon, and numerous others I have missed from this generation, there are more than enough games to keep me going until there is something of interest to me on the 360.

This is not even a factory made xbox 360 box. I made it myself, just a few minutes ago. It does not contain an Xbox 360 console, just the Xbox 360 home-made box. this box is great hand made by me says XBOX right on it It doesn't look anything like the picture I included in the auction.
