If you had the money to finance a game what game would you make

Can be a sequel/original game/or perhaps redoing a game that was not as good as you hoped.

For me i would want a proper sequel to deus ex and pretend invisible war never happened

or i would finance snk and get them to do a proper kof game.Redraw and reanimate all the characters and insist the animation was up to garou mark of wolves at the very least

I'd flesh out the fishing subgame in Zelda OOT into a fully fledged Hyrule Rod Challenge! I loved that minigame!

      Interesting topic.

      Shenmue III

      Panzer Dragoon Saga 2

Another 'Capcom Five' (or four as they eventually became)

A remake of Final Fantasy VII (or direct sequel with a decent in-game engine/voice actors)

A Wipeout compliation featuring Wipeout, Wipeout 2097, Wipeout 3, Wipeout 64 and Wipeout Pure in the same package with updated hi-def visuals.

A futuristic non-linear RPG set in Wipeout's universe so I could get off the tracks and do some exploring.

Another Oddworld game in the vein of Stranger's Wrath (an open-ended, streaming world).

A sequel to Rez by Sega and developed by Mizuguchi/Q Entertainment, with a random area generator that changes objects/layouts/styles on the fly dependent on the music CD/MP3 you choose to use.

A proper streaming version of Elite that features next-gen visuals and actually works. It could be like GTA on the ground, and Colony Wars up in the sky.

A sequel to Farenheit that overwrites the original's ending as a bad dream, and focuses on the human/drama side.

Silent Hill 5 redone similar to Resident Evil 4. It'd be a prequel where you live as an inhabitant of the town as it slowly descended into hell. Think Shenmue and Animal Crossing meeting Twin Peaks.

A sequel to Eternal Darkness that expands on the sanity effects, sorts the control out and expands the layers already built up in the first game.

A Revolution inspired version of Jet Set Radio where you use the remote control to direct the spray of graffiti.

      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those are a few, but my main one would be financing Sega to produce Shenmue III and get the rest of the chapters finished to end the saga.

Oh yeah, and a Revolution sequel to NiGHTS where the remote control manipulates the flying. Either that or a 360/PS3 hi-def remake of the original.

A really awesome Tron game. I don't think anything has come close to the awesomeness of how it looked, and how all the mini games and story together could play. Online.

Altho if I had that sort of cash, i would really like to build games in real life, like a Unversal Studios for games. Imagine a laser quest type thing played in recognisable levels from Halo or Quake. Or maybe karting with real mario kart tracks...

^^Now I know why you chose that username Concept! Every one of those sounds great!

Though a Panzer Saga remake on 360 would suit me as I missed the original...

That's the best idea I've heard for the rev controller yet.

I'd port that sega game where you use the samurai sword to cut down enemies to the Rev. BLATANTLY be so much fun.

One simple request - Marvel vs DC or simply an expanded Marvel universe 2d fighter.

My money would go straight into a NGPC fighters collection for GBA, including Last Blade, CvS and the KoF games. I would pay a large sum of money to contribute to that right now.

Why not just play then on the NGPC?

That would be better TBH - native screen size + the best D-Pad(stick) ever.

I'd finance Street Fighter IV and pimp the arcade-home online connection with worldwide scoreboards and tourneys. 100,000% profit maker right there.

Bright lit screen, better colours, smaller system, rechargable battery and having them all together are the main reasons for wanting them on my GBA Micro rather than just playing them on NGPC.
