Just gave the progressive scan DVD playback a go, there goes all my hopes of using it as my main DVD player

In dark areas you see a kind of gradient in colours you somtimes see on low quality digital TV, sure its got a name but I dont know it. I was also wanting to use it as my main DVD player but it really is obvious, maybe it would look better on a Progressive Scan Standard Def TV though.Comment

Its just gives a really horrible grainy dirty pixelly picture, I was utterly shocked and dissapointed.
This is all in 480p, I could actually go as far as saying that pictuer wise its as bad as the ps2

You can't play Movies from the HDD (unless you've downloaded them through live) or from a portable device.Comment
