if the killer app is the console itself, there may well be an expectations battle for microsoft to win.

The problem is i would never buy a console if there was no great games.

It could have all the potential but if nothing uses it then i dont see the point

I cancelled my Live account a few months ago because I just wasn't using it enough - I was playing offline games almost entirely.

Before I did so, however, a good 90% of my so-called 'online gaming' was high-score challenging over Midway Arcade Treasures, PGR2 Kudos leage tables and Outrun 2 laptimes. So hearing that this is becoming more of a standard feature on 360's Live is great news.

Does any of the league table stuff work with just Silver, or would I need a Gold account again?
