EDIT - Makes me think - the shortages of units/accessories in the UK could most possibly be down to the fact that they are prepping units for the JPN release.

Quite possibly. Haven't MS said they'll be making a whole heap more effort in Japan this time though? Does nobody believe them?

That may be the case, but it's unlikely they'll get more releases than the US or even the UK :P
