    Donkey Konga on DS!?

Now im bored out my skull in work and i was thinking back to how much i loved this game on the GC

why cant this be ported out to the DS? i reckon a DS running this with you tapping the screen and clapping and things would be superb

    im gonna start a petition!

Would be fun for a few days then you'd never touch it again

    (just like the GC game)

Well the DS cant register 2 points being touched at the same time so the double touch would be out (not very ideal anyway)

Anyway, you've got Ouenden and Daigasso! which are very similar experiences, optimised for the DS.

hmm, i actually have every version of donkey konga apart the us version of donkey konga 2, and i've been playing it for a lot longer than a couple of days, i've never met anyone that didn't enjoy it; 4 bongo multiplayer is hard to beat.

anyways, i actually saw screenshots for a homebrew version of donkey konga ds, the top screen was just like the gc version, then the bottom screen had 4 large symbols, obviously they were left bongo, right bongo, clap, and purple circle (for both bongos)

Actually it can, go into pictochat and press two points on the screen; it will draw a line inbetween them.
But yes, you're right, it would not be good for portability - can you imagine putting it on your lap or something on a bumpy train?

That's weird because I was told by someone who was developing on DS that it couldn't register more than one point at once. I had a suggestion for 2-player touch screen games because the system comes with a spare stylus but was told it wasn't possible.
