Which region Xbox 360 is best and some other minor questions

Seems to me to get the best of all three main regions, the Jap Xbox 360 seems best. According to Playasia Jap Xbox 360 games are region encoded as confirmed here...

My desire to play the Jap version of Tetris Grand Master lies with this now...
Do I sell my UK Xbox 360 and get a Jap one?

Also, I apologise for my ignorance with this but are UK games region free like US ones?

And lastly, can I use a UK Live account if I was to have a Jap Xbox 360 console?

Only certain games will be region free, and they will not be advertised as such. The situation with the 360 appears to be the same as the orginal, i.e, MS leave up to the publishers to decide if they want to lock the games, and sadly most probably will.
