I've improved the top light ^^

I was just wondering about one thing tho, saurian did you take the badge off the front of the machine, then sand down the green logo till their was no green left? or did you open the case from the bottom of the machine and do it that way? which do you think is easier? i ask because i am going to have a go, at doing this myself and just wanted to knowm coz that machine looks S!Ck!
That green thing is atrocious ennit! I've always hated it and it looks much better transparent even if there is no light behind it.

It's difficult to remove it, removing the paint is not so hard. The way I took it off was to remove the metal shield casing from the inside of the machine's shell. Once that's off you can make a small hole behind that green mess and use something thin to push it out (this is damn hard, best to make the hole near the outer edge of it)

To remove the paint use 1000 grit sandpaper, once all the paint is off go up to 2000 grit paper to finish it off. Next use Meguires Plastic Polish to sort the surface out.
After you get the badge off you have to make a hole in the middle of the casing so that the light can shine through. You need to use a circular saw drill bit, I went through the front side of the case but it left the upper edge of the hole quite rough - I suggest going through the front to avoid this.

      Rah Lyris' machines look sick!
