Xmas gaming plans?

Been waiting for this for months and months and so this will be my festive pleasure

I just got Donkey Konga... so when my family comes round for christmas dinner I think I will get my granparents on the bongos.....

And I just ordered Resi 4 limited edition, the Two Thrones and Genji from the sale at Play so I'll be playing them whenever they show up.

I am hoping for a Nintendo Wireless USB kit from Santas sack so a spot of Mario Kart DS will be the order of the day....only trouble is that I start work at 3 and my next day off isnt until the 2nd of January...bugger

I've got two weeks off from work from now and I'm gonna try and get stuck into some my backlog of games & DVD's: Battalion Wars, Eternal Darkness, Killer 7, Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2, Kirby DS, GTA:SA, Half-Life 2, Burnout 4 are some of them.

But chances are the backlog is going to grow with all the sales that are coming!

Oh and some Mario Karting, Animal Crossing & Trauma: Under the Knife on the DS.

Thinking of doing the following :-

Finishing Prince of Persia:The Two Thrones, Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime 2 (this may take longer than chrimbo but what the heck). Then I plan on finally getting a ps2 for at least the double pack of ICO/Shadow of the Colussus in february (by which time I should of finished the three games on my list)whilst keeping an eye out for any bargains on the net for the ps2/us cube!

Hopefully I've got Tony Hawk DS under the tree; looks really impressive, especially given wifi, and today's positive EG writeup (http://eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=62258) has got me really looking forward to old-school Tony Hawk action. If not that, it's Kirby Canvas Curse, but I'm pretty sure it's Hawk.

Away at relatives, so leaving everything but the DS behind. Still, chance to play Advance Wars (GBA), Mario Kart DS, and try and get further in Castlevania DOS (just got to Paranoia). Also, am visiting the girlfriend's family, and I know she's got her stepbrother Mario Kart, after I showed him the joys of DS multiplayer. Can't wait to chill out with him and nail some races.

When I get home, it'll be finishing HL2 on the box, and racking up YET MORE TIME in Battlefield2: Modern Combat. The new maps which came out yesterday (and were free) are pretty good - Hidden, a remake of Wake Island, especially so.

Then it's a case of hitting the sales for cheap DS games. And maybe a cheap PS2 soon.

I'm going to polish off Kameo and go deeper into Ridge 6. Also, I'm finally going to put some time into Condemned, I've had it since a week before the machine's release but haven't gotten around to playing it properly yet

Madly spend all my time getting slightly acquainted with whatever games my family has decided to purchase for me. Which equates to pretty much just doing the first level and then putting them back on the shelf for when I come back to them in the new year and really crack them open.

Although spending a few days post-christmas just playing DMD mode on DMC3 sounds lovely right now. In some ways it's sad the amount of time I can spend playing it!

Start and complete Condemned, go and watch King Kong at the cinema, then buy the game on the 360 and complete it
