    Worth reading if you have multiple XBL accounts on one 360

    Worth reading this thread, looks like there is an issue when you have a Gold account setup and another account setup with the Gold trial (which it forces you to do), seems that when that Gold trial expires it will nuke the Gold status on your paid for account too

    Thought it was worth a mention as quite a few people have multiple accounts setup (e.g. for having a US account for marketplace downloads )

    Uh oh...I'm in this position. The Xbox Live team seem to think that this problem only occurs if :-

    1 - you have a two gold accounts on your Xbox 360 (either full or trials).
    2 - you have both accounts SIGNED IN when ONE of them expires, and reverts back to silver. (This strikes me as being quite an unlikely scenario, and a lot of people are affected so far, so I'm not sure how likely this is, but it's certainly possible).

    This will cause the system to actually revert BOTH accounts to silver, even if the second account wasn't due to expire (as mine will certainly not be).

    I have about a month left on my second account, problem should be fixed then. Also, I rarely use my US marketplace account, so it will never be signed in at the same time. I guess time will tell!
