GBA Games

i was just wandering what GBA games you guys have?
ive been Playing my SP loads latley especially Wario ware and donkey kong country.

i put this in the NTSC place seen as most of us import

I have Yoshi and Street Fighter Zero 3. To be honest, I rarely use my GBASP anymore. Ive never felt totally comfortable using it whilst out and about for some reason, it tends to get left at home most days. When Im at home, its all about the consoles so it doesnt get much of a look-in.

Well I dont like turn based or RPG games so most of the non ported material is pretty unappealing to me. I have all the good ports on the snes, and I much prefer to play games on a big screen.

The games I do have still for the GBA are;

Made in Wario: ****
Phalanx: not bothered to play yet
Castlevania: not bothered to play yet

You can see that the GBA as a platform doesnt really appeal to me much.

I can only speak for myself here, but it isnt that I would rather play on the big 3, but the fact that the GBA doesnt have any interesting games.

Barring a handful of titles, the good games on the GBA are ports. If you have been playing games throughout the 16 bit era you are likely to own or have played most of the good games on the GBA. There is no real incentive for me to buy games I already own on the snes.

The good exclusive games (barring Made in Wario) are largely role playing games or turn based games. Neither of these appeal to me. So it isnt about the fact that my time is consumed with playing on my GC, PS2 and Xbox, but rather that there is no desire to play on the GBA full stop.

My GBA (SP) gets loads of use. In fact 3 out of 5 lunch breaks a week at a minimum. And quite often when I wake up on a Saturday / Sunday morning and can't be bothered getting up! My old normal GBA used to get used most evenings too as I spent quite a lot of time living out of hotels not long after it launched.

Well, i just got Castlevania AOS, and it's brilliant, everything i could of hoped for after SOTN. Even down to the handy quick-save function

I'm currently about 75% of the map done, and i've had it about 2 days!!thats a game right there, when it does that. I love my new Balmug sword, it's SICK and my orlox suit and all my souls Muhahaha 'Disk armour' love it. Need more souls...

Well this thread has made me look at my SP collection, and quite frankly, I am shocked at the number of games I have for it. Admitadely many of them have been bought at super low costs (I have taken advantage of trading games in at work for a super low price ), I still have too many.
