        Which just adds to the illusion of value/rarity. Something is only worth what people will pay and ebay helps create myths regarding the rarity of items. Its a hype machine and people use it craftly and make a profit off it. Symphony of the night for example reaches absurd prices (castlevania in general does too), ico has seen its stock rise considerably because of ebay. Ebay makes people believe that they NEED something.
