The Favourite Name Of A Videogame Character Thread

So many to choose from, but I'm going for 'Blues' from Yie Ar Kung-Fu.

If - as a ten-year-old in 1985 - I'd been able to do so, I'd probably have changed my name by deed poll to Blues.

Looking back, I'm kind of glad I didn't make that change.

If you're going to talk about Yie Ar Kung-Fu, then surely the name 'Oolong' beats 'Blues' hands down?

Oolong & Blues - Ryu & Ken circa 1985 (sort of).

Yes, but Oolong sounds a bit Kenneth Williams, straight up, as a ten year old, what would you rather be known as Blues or Oolong?

      I'm sticking with Blues.

Largo Winch, although technically he's a comic book character

Your post has made me laugh, (with you, not at you), does that make me sound like an alien commander?

Shall we both settle on Buchu (Grant and Phil)? We could be the forum version of the Mitchell brothers, maybe.

Solid Snake. The way David Hayter says it makes shivers run down my spine... Conjures up every (good) cheesy action movie from the 80s for me.

"Solid Snake" is a bit too Top Gun volleyball scene for me.

As for my favourite game name -either Paul Phoenix or Iori Ya gami.

However way you look at it, fighting game characters have the best names.

Dan Smith - The sheer normal-ness of this name is what i like better then most of the OTT names characters have.
