Co-Op Games: So few these days?

Other that Halo and TimeSplitters 2, how many 2+ player co-op games can you think of that have been released this generation?

Do you think this shows a downturn in the popularity of cooperative play, or perhaps just the massive popularity of deathmatch style play?

Any thoughts appreciated ...

Here are a few thoughts for you ^^, I appreciate why you couldn't find them as the forum search function seems to be fudged up atm, but feel free to resurrect that thread if you feel you have anything to add.
