Then stop looking, trust me I wish I hadn't as I've found one about 2cm down and 2cm in on the top left of the top screen. Bright red it is the little **** !!
Just miled the supplier and I await his answer.

If I had the old DS for ages then ended up with a dead-pixel DS lite I'd be mighty pissed.

I have had an old DS for over a year and hardly played it most of the time - partly because I find the quality of the screen is very poor and the viewing angle is rubbish so it's uncomfortable to play. I think I could live with *one* dead pixel if the screen quality has as much improvement as it would appear from pics/video.. at least I will actually be able to see the screen clearly!

Don't think I've seen a dead pixel on a DS before but my PSP has a couple and it hasn't bothered me (had it the same time as my DS and it has had a lot more use), although they are quite inconspicous and perhaps a dead pixel might show up more clearly on one of the small DS screens.

Mine arrived this morning its luverly . Screens are amazing and so far cant spot any dead pixels .

Noticed one dead pixel in the top right of the top screen last night but i'm not bothered really as it took me 4 days notice it so it can't be that.

Only criticism so far is that the D-Pad and buttons feel quite loose but they are an improvement over the original. As I think another person said : the D-Pad on the Micro is better.

Just waiting for Tetris DS and my case to arrive from LikSang now ...

Grr...I just checked the status on the tracking page and it's currently "AWAITING CUSTOMS CHARGING". Curses!

Also that NCSX page is the only thing I've heard about dead pixels, aside from the few people on here who have them. I lurk and post on a lot of forums where a lot of people have them, and that's all I've heard. If mine has more than one and it annoys me I'll probably just eBay it and buy a US or UK one when they come out.

My YesAsia order from 10th Feb is showing Ready to be shipped, without the extra $50 surcharge (not paying that).

I'm wondering if no one agreed to pay it, so they've started to ship at retail, or its gone a wonky.

Hmmm...you see, he's Sony and he's obviously going to say that - he was doing what is known as marketing. He's not an industry analyst and, if he was and yet worked for Sony, he's still never going to give you what he actually thinks.

Actually, I'd love to read the press statements from Nintendo on the Virtual Boy. Or Sega's on the MegaCD. They'd all have a hard time beating Sony's Emotion Engine cack but it might be all the funnier given the failure of those machines. When it comes to marketing, having people not talk out their ass would be exceptionally unusual.

Nintendo have changed the shape of the plug yet again, so no, the micro charger won't work. (and neither will the old DS/GBA charger)

Does is matter? They give you the charger when you buy the system.
