As for the DS Lite, i did pre-order a few days ago, but have now cancelled it. New look, same ****!

Got my DS Lite (white version) yesterday straight from the land of the rising sun and a few games (bought them second hand).

So the "converter" I have for my US PSP (travel adapter style plug) will be fine for the DS Lite as well?

There's no USB mini port in that it's not the standard (i.e. this or something similar). It's a standard USB plug on 1 end and the unique DS Lite plug on the other. So he's right in saying it's not a mini USB port on the DS Lite.

As for the converter business, Yesasia included a bog standard travel adaptor with my DS Lite and it won't charge with it. Does nothing, I had to buy a cheap stepdown from PA for about ?5 to do the job.

Wierd, the picture on lik-sang looks exactly like the one I use to connect my smartphone to my pc guess I'll have to wait and see...

Well, it's going to be the prorietry DSL connector isn't it. Here's what the connector looks like:



The Lik-Sang one isn't a standard USB lead, it's unique to the DSL.

Might look the same, but the pin configuration could be different. I have a number of mini USB cables and they are smaller than the DS-Lite cable.
