PAL 60hz 360 problem!

Hiya there, got my 360 yesterday (YAY!!) but ive run into a slight problem.

Im using the basic composite for the moment until my RGB lead appears, and im trying to run the game in PAL 60hz. I set it on, and for some reason it shows in colour, as normal, but every few seconds it flickers into black and white :S

Now my TV has run 60hz on PS1, Xbox, GC and PS2, and I cant quite understand why its not now

Anyone heard anything about this before? Also, as I said my RGB lead is appearing in the next day or two, will a full RGB cable fix the problem?

It might just be 'not quite' compatible with NTSC colour encoding.

If that's the case, the RGB Scart should work fine.

Since it's PAL 60, the TV shouldn't have to support NTSC colour.
Sounds to me like the Xbox 360 has video output as strange as the original Xbox...
