    Aye.

I'll but something when there's a game I really want to play and can't do it another way. It's ALL about the games (unless it's about teh profit, ahem).

Don't sell it. Donate it to me for a few months and then I'll send it back to you when you find a game you want. That way, you don't lose out by selling it and buying another later, I get to play a few new games and you know it's being looked after as if it was my own.

tbh, I bought a 360 without really knowing too much about it, it was just a new console to fiddle with, and I was feeling flush with my latest student loan cheque goin in, however having got it, its got me back into gaming properly, I hadn't played anything in weeks, I havn't even owned the 360 a week yet and I've already finished 2 games and am now REPLAYING (something I NEVER do!) these games to get more of the acheivements. I havn't been so happy gaming since the DC days I jus hope the software drought other people are stumbling across doesn't effect me.

If it gets me back to playing games how I used to do, I'll be 100% platinuming games such as PGR3 anyway before I think about moving onto new stuff and Ridge Racer is also looking like it's gonna take up a huge chunk of my time so tbh I'm perfectly happy with my 360 and I am more than happy to wait a few months for the next batch of software to come out, I'm finally back to playing games properly instead of playing them til I get stuck and moving very swiftly onto the next game.

Your normally have to be good at the game for that to bother you though

Anyway I'm with the crowd who think you should keep it, the 360 was rushed out so the launch titles arn't exactly top quality and a few good games are coming out in the next few months.

What PC games have you been playing which has been dragging you away from your 360 then? That could be the problem, PC gaming might be more your thing depending on the genre's you prefer.

Everyone should know what to expect from the 360. It's all about bigger brasher graphics and effects, there isn't anything deeper than that. There are some good games, but no mind-blowing life changing experiences.

I like it because I knew what to expect, and PGR3 may not be stunning, but it's still very fun when playing mates on Live.

Live Arcade is great, and my family and mates are more addicted to Geometry Wars than anything else. In a way this proves that gripping traditional tight gameplay mixed with great visual style is something people enjoy; which can only be a positive thing!

I really hope the 360 builds a diverse catalogue of titles, because at the moment the line-up is looking very pc-esque and ultimately dull to people after traditional console style titles.

I have never, ever got this. It happens with every console launch:

              - Buy launch console
              - Buy a small selection of games
              - Complete some, not bothered by others
              - Start thread complaining about gaming drowt

Have you ever considered that the games you bought might not be for you? PDZ and Amped 3 are marmite games. Why don't you trade them for COD2 and Kameo? And don't start with the 'I tried Kameo and thought it was crap' comments, everyone thought Kameo was crap but quite a few people ended up loving it. Try it.

If you can't get on with PGR3 online (not playing with idiots helps a lot), then try Ridge Racer. Collisions and blocking are all a part of the game. It's lovely.

And sell DOA3 as it's worth the most, stop being so stingy and buy some of the Arcade games. How you can moan at Outpost Kaloki and Mutant Storm costing just over ?6 is beyond me.

In short: be proactive. They'll allways be naysayers telling you this console is rubbish and they always said so and blah, blah, blah, but you're the one who bought the thing. Grow up a bit and get out there. Then having tried everything if you still don't like it, then start up a thread and sell the bastard but not before.

I keep getting the urge to buy a 360, but I keep thinking I wil be disappointed. It's nothing to do with the quality of the titles - I think they are pretty good for a launch line up.

There's just something about the launch which hasn't inspired me.

Says the person who was moaning about wanting to buy Wik and saying how amazing Marble Blast is.

Arcade games are definately good value for money.

Mind has been changed. Then I wasn't thinking about how much it would be, and now I have, it's just way to much money to spend on a few arcade games.

Get an old XBox DVD case. Write 'Geometry Wars' on the spine in permanent marker. Put in in your 360 game collection.

Honestly, what is your problem? A game is a game. Whether is comes on a shiny disc for ?50 with whizz-bang graphics or a ?3 download with wonderfully artistic but simple graphics, who cares?

If you're the sort of person who won't download a Live Arcade games just becaise they are arcade games, then the 360 isn't for you. This seems more up your street....

I'm sorry. I just don't get it though. It's not about the 360, I don't give a monkeys if someone cares about a system or not, but it's the familiar whinging about a system without having tried all it has to offer. It's just like the old moaning about the N64 when people hadn't even tried Pilotwings or Waverace.

And moaning about the cost of arcade games? For the price of DOA4 alone you could buy a dozen arcade games. You know how wonderful they can be.

Logic??!? BZZZTTTT!!!! Syntax Error!!! Brain Implosion!!! ARRGGHHHHhhhh!!!

Get FFXI and never do anything else again.

                                Solved. Sharpish.

(I'm currently enduring the 3rd cycle of the same batch of underwear - I haven't "had the time" to go to the laundrette)
