The Biohazard DS one doesn't even close properly... but the game does come in a proper DS case inside, so you can just take the game out then keep the box somewhere safe... you don;t need to continuously open it (you WILL break it that way).

For me, it can say LIMITED EDITION R@RE!!!11 all over the front of it if it wants, but it should have the same packaging and sleeve as my other games so it doesn't look daft.
I think most others are in agreement that these bloody cardboard things that publishers think they're doing us a favour by giving us, only serve to piss us off!

Snaplock AES carts - why oh why have a huge SNK inisde just to scratch away at the cartridge
I also hate Euro PS2 game packaging with the huge 'PlayStation2' banner at the top, minimalistic spines and horrible blue cases. It makes me sick!

i didn't get the re4 gun thing i bought the asian re4 instead as it was much nicer
the game packaging doesn't bother me as i keep my games in those dvd sealable bags, which keep em in very good condition
games in cardboard cases aren't as bad as you lot say as i've got a silent hill 2 pal special edition and its unmarked
what does annoy me is the yellow on players choice gamecube titles it just looks wrong
one thing i like is the playstation logo on import ps2 titles its so much nicer than the pal as the white spine and black text is just boring

I actually install my PS2 and XBox games onto the HDD (DMS4 Pro mod with ToxicOS for PS2, so no need for annoying HDLoader disc), so I just install games, put them in the case + resealable baggy and put them on shelf. As a result, every one of my games are truely minty, right down to the case. Plus I don't have to fiddle through discs, just turn on the machine and browse the menu.
Perhaps this is a little anal though.

I'm with you on the old-style AES carts though. Best smelling games ever

Originally posted by bingowingsas much as i like the JPN GC cases, the sleeves do tend to get monged rather easily. but the double-disc cases are an excellent example of game packaging. created with the minimum of fuss.
what i don't get though, is the way the PAL and US 'Gamecube' logo is flipped. annoys the hell out of me. someone sort it out, thanks.
