The Biohazard DS one doesn't even close properly... but the game does come in a proper DS case inside, so you can just take the game out then keep the box somewhere safe... you don;t need to continuously open it (you WILL break it that way).

Oblivion is the next game to come in the metal tin and sleve LE casing.

For me, it can say LIMITED EDITION R@RE!!!11 all over the front of it if it wants, but it should have the same packaging and sleeve as my other games so it doesn't look daft.

I think most others are in agreement that these bloody cardboard things that publishers think they're doing us a favour by giving us, only serve to piss us off!

I'm not a fan of cardboard packaging, but I find the Jpn Gamecube cases look great.

            Jp Gamecube games
UK ds cases - boring spines
Snaplock AES carts - why oh why have a huge SNK inisde just to scratch away at the cartridge
I love the dinky little JPN GC packaging - very nice and tidy. I'm with you on UK DS games, however - too bland and chunky for my liking.

I also hate Euro PS2 game packaging with the huge 'PlayStation2' banner at the top, minimalistic spines and horrible blue cases. It makes me sick!

I find myself forgiving the Japanese GC cases, because dispite the cardboard slipcase, they just look so awesome.

Probably should have used more durable plastic slipcases though if they ahd to use a slipcase at all.

i didn't get the re4 gun thing i bought the asian re4 instead as it was much nicer

the game packaging doesn't bother me as i keep my games in those dvd sealable bags, which keep em in very good condition

games in cardboard cases aren't as bad as you lot say as i've got a silent hill 2 pal special edition and its unmarked

what does annoy me is the yellow on players choice gamecube titles it just looks wrong

one thing i like is the playstation logo on import ps2 titles its so much nicer than the pal as the white spine and black text is just boring

I actually install my PS2 and XBox games onto the HDD (DMS4 Pro mod with ToxicOS for PS2, so no need for annoying HDLoader disc), so I just install games, put them in the case + resealable baggy and put them on shelf. As a result, every one of my games are truely minty, right down to the case. Plus I don't have to fiddle through discs, just turn on the machine and browse the menu.

Perhaps this is a little anal though.

It's not a boxset. The gun is seperate and only about the size of 20 fags

I think they're great, certainly better than anything else Nintendo have done. They look real nice when you have a lot of them.

I'm with you on the old-style AES carts though. Best smelling games ever

No fair! Was that Tesco extra?? How much do the other 360 games go for then??

what i don't get though, is the way the PAL and US 'Gamecube' logo is flipped. annoys the hell out of me. someone sort it out, thanks.
i find the Jap GC double disc cases to be terrible, the disc on the left side is always falling out!
