Core 360s need not apply

Apparently some 360 games will only run on the Premium machine, not the core.

Controversial as most people with cores wanted a premium 360, but there just wasn't enough stock. Not to mention how difficult (and pricey) it is to find a harddrive for the 360 anway.

Bit misleading, it's not that they won't run on the core as such, they just require the HDD. Hardly surprising that an MMORPG with constant updates, and a football management game need the HDD.

And Final Fantasy XI more than likely will need the HDD...

I'm just not sure why Microsoft bothered to release a core machine.

The FFXI beta we've all been playing for a month now takes up 5GB of HDD space.
