Console games with aircraft? (take off / landing)

I'm gutted there wasn't a new Pilot Wings for the GC. I think the N64 version was amazing, relaxing and challenging as well as being incredibly addictive.

I actually dug out my N64 a wee while back to have a game and it still stands up today although the blockiness of the graphics was a bit of a shock!

believe or not I tried to do the same a couple of weeks ago,got me 64 out hooked it up,went and got pilotwings opened the box and the cart was ****ing diddy kong racing!
can't find my pilotwings anywhere

Operation Air Assault is another PAL-only PS2 title that has some fairly nice features to it, being fairly decent if a little uninspired and pedestrian (nothing one wouldn't expect from mission-based aircraft/sim/shooter).

Don't forget the ol' Crimson Skies addiction I had I love this style of game. Early days yet but so far, Dropship is a damn fine game. The thrust/hover/afterburn noises are truly amazing and the control is spot on, putting the analogue buttons to good use. Auto landing though, wtf is that about? Turned that off right away

Oh yeah! , you were a bit pie hot at Crimson Skies as well .

Dropship is a great game though, just game Mission 5 its starts to get way to hard
