Jap DS games

Would like a recommendation of some good Jap only DS games that are

a) playable without any Jap knowledge
b) slightly obscure but fun.

I loved Band Brothers and Ouendan so maybe somthing like that...

I seamed to remember the rewiews not being very good.

As for Electroplankton if i was to get that it would be the US version.

I like the sound of that cooking game, but thats not out for a bit.

I find viewtiful joe great, but people say that it doesnt compare to the gc versions. Watch some clips on ign if you're not sure.

Problem with it is that there is never more then 2 bad guys on screen at once.

Viewtiful Joe is excellent, one of the best DS games in my opinion.

As for Jump Superstars, I found it rather dull and you will need to use a FAQ continually as all of the missions are in kanji.

I have JSS and loved it.

Bleach is a game i have been thinking about getting.

I would recommend Kuji Kuji Do and Super Duper Adventures. Top class.

If you like Cameltry (otherwise known as "On the Ball" on the SNES), the DS sequel Mawa****e Koron is pretty good. Works very well with the touch screen. It's very short though, if you're not interested in getting high scores.
