Primarily, Im sure we all use the XBox to play its numerous games. However, there is so much more you can do with your box and I wondered what you use your console for mostly.
For me, I have a Slayer installed Xbox and 120GB drive. Ive transferred over 250 (Hip-Hop and R&B) music videos to it which I play through Xbox Media Player 2.4 to my plasma screen. The results are very impressive, more so than direct via my PC and Power DVD, and the interface is lovely also. Its the perfect video jukebox.
When Im not doing this, Ill be playing MP3s again through XMP 2.4 through my stereo, as this gives me a much better and stronger sound than my PC speakers.
Occasional emulators, although I tend to really put a game on just to remember what it was once like more than anything. Very few manage to hold my attention longer than 30 minutes, and its not long before I go back to playing Halo and so on. Final Burn is quite impressive, but I tend to play Shinobi more than any other retro title.
The other thing I like to do is set up custom soundtracks, absolutely brilliant when playing games like Burnout 2.
The Xbox has so much potential. It may not please Microsoft, but from a games and entertainment point of view the possibilities are countless.
