Played it through 3 times now.

I actually really, really enjoyed it! Once i'd figured out what to actually do, that is.

I can see the metroid comparison. This my first time having anything to do with this game and i'll be buying it.

My god.

I just played Marathon online and I was against the most incredible bunch of retards, who happened to set the game to a solo King Of The Hill and thought that everyone was on teams. I spent 15 minutes telling them that all the scores were being recorded individually while they were complaining about me teamkilling.

Put me right off tbh.

After which point I played online again and had an absolutely fantastic laugh! 8 player Rockets Only on 16th Parallel = Big fun.

loving marathon,but is anyone else experiencing some nasty motion sickness while playing? it's something about the aspect,like it feels really close up.

Strange as i've never experienced motion sickness on ANY other fps.

Marathon is the first game i have ever played that made me feel light headed and sick? Sure it's a good game though.

Have you guys tried toning down the sensitivity and if that doesn't work disabing the HD upgrades?

Has anybody mentioned the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam demo that's on the US marketplace?!

I downloaded it a few days back. It's absolutely terrible. I would say it's the worst demo on 360, but Hour or Victory still holds that dubious honour.

I've just played it all the way through and thought it was absolutely brilliant myself. How it could POSSIBLY be crowned as 'worst demo on 360' completely baffles me. Got the hang of the combo system very quickly and had an absolute blast playing through it.

Already convinced me to buy the game.

If you like DW or N3, play it. It's well worth a download.

Just tried Fatal Inertia though and... oh dear.

I'm sure it would actually be ok if it wasn't so hard to tell what was going on. This isn't even 30 fps. I'm thinking 15-20fps? Now normally I wouldn't go off on a rant about that kind of thing, but in a game that's based around speed and quick reflexes (I assume), you don't want to be finding it incredibly difficult to see what's going on due to missing frames.

i loved it as well. i have been an absolute sucker for the DW games on the 360 and this adds one of my great passions - giant robots fighting.

these games are an acquired taste but that doesn't mean they are bad.

i wish more people on this forum would stop hating and just enjoy games
