Just given FFS a go & it's good. Was playing against some one with a ping of 350+ & did not see any lag there. There's no local multi player (wtf??) & the sound track is the MVS one. Looks fine, though the white/yellows on the skin tones seem a little high.
Worth the 400 points though =)

Probably a no buy week for me. Cyberball I have zero interest in, and Fatal Fury is pretty ancient and a bit of an odd choice. Why not choose Garou Densetsu, Last Blade, or the latest KOF?

Nope. Garou Densetsu is the japanese name for the series that in the west is referred to as Fatal Fury.

I presume you're referring to the better game being Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

I supposed we have to be rinsed of our GP's on the earlier SNK games before we can have Mark of the Wolves. Hopefully Legend of Success Joe won't be one of them

Garou Densetsu is the orginal fatal Fury, the game on XBL is Fatal Fury Special, which is an update of Fatal Fury 2 I belive and is regarded to be the best in the series by quite a few people.

There is, without a doubt, a vastly higher number of "good" "games" on the Virtual Console than either PSN or XBLA. The argument may run "I've played them before!" but Nintendo have this downloadable games lark sussed.
