Funnily I liked the handling - right side of arcadey though got quite slippy at high speeds but I found that part of the fun. Loved the arcadey dodgem-like nature of 4 player races.

There was a lot of work needed but I still have it on my radar - particularly now that MotoGP has failed to properly deliver.

It's as good as the demo and therefore more than reasonable - I just expected they'd fix the screen tearing and occasional slowdown - Not acceptable for a 360 title.

Still a strong game by any stretch of the imagination

I didn't really expect them to. Review copies were already out by the time the demo was released so they weren't going to fix anything in the meantime. It might get patched but I doubt it for anything like occasional slowdown. Hopefully someone will find some glitchy shortcuts like they did with the original Moto GP which will ruin multiplayer to the extent that they have to patch it.

One for the fans I suspect, I wouldnt accept a game with such flaws out of principal alone.

Well it looks like the Japanese dev's are even region encoding demo's. There's a Love Football demo on the Japanese marketplace (610MB), that refuses to work on my PAL machine.

This is unacceptable. They either lock us out so we can't access content in other countries or they remove region locking - ****ing arseholes - I mean it's not like the Japanese are lapping it up !!!

and Strike off all the ****ty games from my interest list (Rumble Roses, Test Drive, Blazing Angels...etc.)

Bit OT: Played Blazing Angels - thought it was pretty fun, like the first level of that Cube Star Wars game. Voiceover is bloody aweful though.

Got around 13 demos now but over half have turned me off a game I probably would have bought otherwise...

Totally agree Yoshi, I was so pissed last night, it took ages for the damn thing to download . I really don't see the point in region coding demo's. At least let those of us who will never be able to play the full games, try them out.

Anyway, gave the Love Football demo a go, it's, erm, okay? I got to play as the goalkeeper - the camera angle was a bit too horizontal for my liking, the camera itself was a bit strange, takes a tad long to adjust to where the ball is, and making sure where the goal is is also a tad disorientating.

I'll probably give it a pop later, see if I can play as someone else bar the keeper.
