Contra and TMNT sound like good ideas perhaps.

I purchased Contra at launch and it's broke. I don't believe a patch was ever released. Online co-op, the reason I bought it, is flat out buggered. The two players appear to lose synch (not that the game tells you) and you end up playing with AI instead

On the plus side it does lead to some fun arguments on the vertical levels.

Trials is at 560 now
MVC2 is showing as 560 but when you move to download it increases to 1200 hoping they flip the switch on that one soon!

Have you played/Finished Super metroid or any of the Castlevanias from SotN onwards?

Being a big fan of the genre Shadow complex was an instant buy for me.

I bought it on the recommendation that it was like those games and found it disappointing. I just found it a boring and by the numbers type of game with a rubbish story and no atmosphere.

I'm another who bought Shadow Complex based on the repeated claims it was Super Metroid's/Castlevania: Symphony of the Night's equal and found it thoroughly disappointing. Shoddy aiming, generic level design, uninspiring artistic style, it has none of the charm, atmosphere or imagination of those aforementioned classics.

I loved Shadow Complex, and absolutely hate the Castlevania and Metroid series. I guess you're either one or the other
