I want to be.... a deer!

You are a stag, a male deer. So are the other players. You meet each other in an endless forest on the internet. The setting is idyllic, the atmosphere peaceful. You communicate with one another through sounds and body language.

For interacting with the world, you use buttons in a strip at the bottom of the screen. These buttons only appear when they can be used. So part of the game is to find areas where a certain actions can be performed. Some of these you can do on your own, others require the presence of another player or a certain object. As The Endless Forest develops, many more actions will become available.

Basic Actions:

Lie down
Make your deer lie down once in a while. Not because he gets tired but because it looks so decorative.

Stand up
If it is time to go roaming the forest, you'll need to stand up first.

Rub a tree
No need to wait for an itch. Just rub a tree. It feels good.

Sniff
Be polite. Greet your neighbours.

Drink
Just the thing to get your strength back up after a long deer-day of not doing much of anything.

C'mon! who hasn't, at some point in their life, wanted to be a freaky man faced deer living in the woods?

If you're the kind of person who cries while hugging trees and spends time rutting around in clumps of moss then I'm sure this... erm... game?.... is for you.

agreed, though thers not so much to see here but its still fun giving ppl lots of horns till u get the one they like, then both doing a little dance to some strange panflute music
