    Pre-E3 Fatigue

Anyone else suffer from this? There's still seven days to go to the actual event, but the build up seems to start earler every year. Like some kind of electronic Christmas.

I really don't mind the actual event, there's always some good new stuff that comes out of it and the big three have their own pre-show unveilings to show off their wares.

It's just...I'm sick of the thing before it's even started. If only it was confined to the three days it was advertised for...

I could always avoid the internet I suppose.

You sound really bitter & bored!

It's onw week of Games related madness, showing new, exciting games, new consoles, next generation footage, interviews from developers and manufactures and is the biggest highlight of the gaming year.

If you're not intrested in that then you should probally cut down on your gaming purchases. I cut back last year and it worked a treat for my intrest in the art

It's not really, it's about 1 day of games related excitement and 4 days of bitching, whining and fanboy ranting in reaction to absolutely everything that gets shown. I always look forward to it, and *always* forget how much I hate it.

There have been some good E3s. 96, 98, 2000 were all good if I remember correctly.

Anything this year will be an improvement on the anti-climax of this year.

I see it being comparable to 2000. Sony's new hardware being shown, Nintendo on top of that arguably in the seat to pull off the most surprises and Microsoft (instead of Sega as back in 2000) cementing their position with a host of fresh, solid games.

I'll keep up with it all just to see what costume Miyamoto comes on stage in. I'm going for Kirby this year

                  That's what I meant.

Head elsewhere. Hands not far off the same. Excuses. Etc.

Dunno about fatigue...but im gasping for some more info on some of the upcoming and unannounced games.

All we have heard of so far is the "Wii"...that in itself is gonna be a great conferance for all the obvious reasons, and thats not including stuff about how the controller works and footage of the games.

Same with Capcom's Dead Rising, Resident Evil 5, DMC4,

As well as God of War 2 and PS3 stuff such as RR7, as well as the first E3 with the 360 already out...and what we can expect coming for it in the year.

Too much good stuff coming our way, and I havnt even listed everything im looking forward to. Im not fatigued...im chuffing starved of info! Need more information, footage, screens now!

The only thing I hate about e3 is trying to work out how on earth you will have the time and money to buy and play all this new stuff!

Electronic xmas? Nah, it's far better than that. I got bored with christmas years ago.

It's the video gaming event of the year, and this year should be just incredible with us finally learning about the Wii. If you aren't excited then I really feel sorry for you.

Well, it's bloody obvious not one of you read my first post.

I never said I was sick of E3 at all, that was everyone else's reaction to what I said.

I actually said I'm sick and tired of the build up to it. Go back to the start and look. Much like Christmas, it starts too bloody early.

I just wish they'd get on with it. I want to know what's happening as much as the next man.

You all should learn to read posts properly before damning people.
